All prompts, tags, and metadata created by the user are stored locally in the user’s browser using the browser’s extension storage.

Website Information

The CuePad website (cuepad.io) is a simple informational site.

The website does not require user accounts or registrations and does not intentionally collect personal information.

If you contact us directly via email, we will only use your email address to respond to your inquiry.

Data Usage:

Data stored locally by CuePad is used solely to provide the extension’s functionality, including:

• Saving prompts

• Searching and organizing prompts

• Viewing and copying prompts

• Exporting prompts on user request

No user data leaves the user’s device unless the user explicitly exports it.

All data remains on the user’s device until:

• The Cuepad extension is removed

CuePad provides an export feature so users can back up their data at any time.

Cuepad requests only the permissions necessary to function:

• Storage – to save prompts locally

• Active Tab – to capture selected text when the user chooses to save a prompt

These permissions are used strictly for their stated purpose.

Because Cuepad does not collect or store personal data on external servers, there is no centralized user data to access, modify, or delete.

Users maintain full control of their data locally within their browser.
